Music of and inspired by Central African pygmies

Tomorrow, the great Afro-Celtic group Baka Beyond will perform here in Olympia (see calendar), and we took the opportunity to explore the Afro side of their musical inspiration, the magical songs of Central Africa's pygmies. Other groups have also been influenced by the sounds of the Baka / Ba-Benjelle pygmies, and we listened to some of those as well as new releases and an Obama praise song in the second hour of the show.
